Erick Armando Pérez is a Mechanical and Electricity Engineer. He also has an Associate Degree in Regulation of the Wholesale Electricity Market and studies on Economic Analysis of Renewable and Nonrenewable Energies from OLADE. He also has studies on Solutions for Social Conflicts in Hydropower Projects from CEDUCA, Guatemala and Power Generation with a Focus on Integrated Management of Water Resources from the Universidad del Valle, Guatemala.
Erick worked in the Energy Development Department of the Ministry of Energy and Mines, on topics of Authorizations for Electric Generation Projects and Registration of Wholesale Market Agents.
Currently, he is the Coordinator of the Renewable Energy Department of the General Energy Directorate of the Ministry of Energy and Mines of Guatemala.
